I am going to ask you to something pretty weird right now. First of all, I want you to listen to your deepest thoughts. Now tell me, what thoughts are in your head? Would you mark them as positive, or negative?
Now let’s say you are walking down the street with these positive or negative thoughts. Do you think anyone who you would meet would be able to tell you what’s on your mind? Although people will not be able to tell you exactly what you think, they will more or less have an idea of how you are feeling and that might affect their attitude towards you.
Here’s another question. When you make an appearance to a party filled with friends, do they all become silent as if something terrible had happened? Or does everybody there perk up as if waiting for something really exciting to happen? It all depends on your thoughts!
Thoughts are really very powerful. They affect your general attitude. The attitude you carry reflects on your appearance – unless you are a really great actor.
And it doesn’t just end there! Your attitude might also affect people around you.
The type of attitude you carry depends only on you! It can be either positive or negative. You decide.
Positive thoughts have a great effect. They are admittedly inspiring! Also, the people around the person carrying positive thoughts are usually very energized by this type of attitude!
Negative thoughts on the other hand have a pretty bad effect on other people. Aside from making you look depressed, gloomy and sad – negative thoughts can turn a festive gathering into a sad funeral-like meeting.
Your positive attitude will attract people, while a negative attitude will certainly repel them. People tend to shy away from those who carry a negative attitude so it wouldn’t affect them.
You have so much to gain from a very positive attitude. A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image and confidence. If you will love the way you are and are confident, satisfied, and self-assured, you also make others are around feel the same way!
Although it is almost impossible to keep ourselves from the negative things that surround us, you can still carry a positive attitude by focusing on the positive things, good things in life.
If positive attitude is really great, why do so many people choose to adopt a negative attitude instead? Anyone who carries a negative attitude may be actually sending a signal for attention. Before you get it wrong, feeling angry, sad, or gloomy is not wrong itself. But dwelling on these thoughts for far too long is not healthy at all.

You do not have much to lose by adopting a positive, healthy attitude. Studies have shown that such an attitude actually makes you healthier, helps you develop a better stress coping mechanism, and has a very positive effect on all the people you meet every day! So, what’s not to like about a positive attitude? Adopt one today and enjoy your new-self!
