You Have A Naughty Child In Your Head

No, I haven’t gone mad but you do have the equivalent of a small child in your head which is also known as you subconscious mind.

A small child will do anything that you tell it to do. Tell the child to jump into the lake and he will, tell him to pull the dogs ears, no problem. The subconscious mind is exactly the same and will believe whatever you tell it.

Tell yourself that you will have a terrible day today and you will, tell yourself that you will never amount to anything in your life and hey presto, your wishes will come true.

Standing Up For Yourself

Hmmm, what does this actually mean?  I often here people say they are simply standing up for themselves when in actual fact they are being critical of another or trying to convince them they are wrong.  So inevitably this ‘Standing up for self’ approach doesn’t work.

I am sure you have all heard of the phrase – you must walk a mile in anothers shoes.  Well – my Grandad – or Puppa as we called him said it to me many times as I was growing up.  I was blessed for most of the first thirteen years of my life to know this wonderful soul and to live with him and Nan on what was to be our family property.
